Solaris 7 Multilingual Features

Solaris 7 allows to develop multilingual applications. Solaris 7 is a single internationalized binary localized into many languages (e.g. Chinese, Japanese, European languages) and can load localized messages and other locale-specific data at runtime. It is possible to create a document with text in different scripts without having to switch to a different locale.European and English locales are shipped on a single CD. Sun now makes available the Global Application Developer Kit 1.0 that includes tools and documentation to develop multilingual applications for the Solaris platform.
