coordination and quality checking of high volume localization projects. The
coordinator is responsible for multilingual glossary management, preparing style
guides and instructions, interfacing with translators and agencies, as well as
update and review of translation memories. This person will not be spending a
large amount of time doing translation, however, will need to utilizing their
experience with translation editing and translation memory.
Education and/or Relevant Experience: The ideal
candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in the translation
field performing the tasks listed above. Knowledge of and experience with the
used of language automation tools, specifically translation memory and
terminology management, a strong technical aptitude, and prior experience with
the localization of web applications especially in the financial space are
highly desirable.
